The publication of Indonesia’s zakat outlook (OZI) 2021 is expected to happen on 28 December 2020 together with Puskas BAZNAS’s public-expose 2020.
What’s new in OZI 2021. There are significant novelties contributed by the researchers at Puskas BAZNAS in OZI 2021. Of the originalities contributed is the measurement of zakat forecast in 2021.
In the next publication of OZI 2021, it is introduced the two method approaches are used in forecasting. The two methods are; forecasting based on opinion and forecasting based on statistics.
Forecasting based on opinion using scenario assumptions. Meanwhile, forecasting statistics using three methods, namely arithmetic straight line, arithmetic-geometric curve, and straight-line forecasting.
Using these approaches, it is expected to provide more accurate projection matters related to zakat in 2021.
