A 7.4 magnitude earthquake that shook the Donggala region, Central Sulawesi, on Friday (09/28/2018) evening also caused a tsunami. BMKG said that the tsunami occurred in at least three regions, namely Palu, Donggala and Mamuju.

At Friday night, BAZNAS departs the BAZNAS Disaster Response (BTB) team through Makassar to take the land route to Palu. In addition, BAZNAS will also depart a team of Doctors and Nurses from Jakarta to Palu through Gorontalo on Saturday (09/29/2018).
